Phone Photos... {Misc & Spring Break}

Our sweet niece, Sarah.  I especially love the picture where she is conked out in Joel's arms.

Gramma B with Izzy.  This was actually at Izzy's 10 year check up.  My mom was with me 10 years earlier when she was a newborn.  Can't believe my baby is 10!!!

Public Museum... start of Spring Break 2013.

   Ice cream after the museum.

We hosted Easter at our house this year with some of our family.  This was the only photo I got.... my SIL's rice crispy bunny pie.

A day in the Amish community with my mom over Spring Break....

 At the local auction there I finally found a black globe for $15 and ....

...pennants for E's room.

Then we met the cousins at this cool place for more Spring Break fun later in the week:

Back to reality tomorrow.  Even though we didn't travel to a warm place, we had a great spring break!

NO GIRLS ALLOWED!

I first came upon John Golden's artwork a few months ago and was instantly captured by his fun colors and clever prints.  I have his etsy shop saved under my "Favorites" folder.  {I actually have an "invitation" to join pinterest, which I hear is so much easier to "save" things to, but you have to have a facebook account to use it, which I don't, so there goes that!}  Anyhow....

I was in TJ Maxx the other day and found one of his prints on canvas.  No Way!!!  I was super excited.

This is the print that I found:

No Girls Allowed Print 6 in x 10 in

You can find more of these cute signs HERE.

There were only 2, so I quickly snatched it up.  Eli thought it was pretty cool too, but proceeded to tell his sister she was not allowed in his room.  I had to explain that I bought it for fun and that it wasn't a rule or anything.  Just decoration - which means nothing to a 6 year old!

Izzy made her own sign:

Here's the canvas print in Eli's room:

{F.Y.I.  I turned the picture on the left around so that I can keep Eli's full name and birthdate private, which I had painted on the front.}
Here are just a few more of my favorites from Mr. Golden's etsy shop:
