Week in Review.

Hi there!  I haven't done a week in review post for a while, much less posted anything.  This is a good way to get you up to date!  Since I now have Instagram on my phone, I use that instead of Retro Cam.  So, here is a Instagram Week in Review!

1 & 2 - Dentist visits... everything looks good but I think there are braces in the future.

3 - Mornings with Mom @ school.

4 - An awesome quilt that I got for only $15 at an Estate sale!  I love it!

5 - Coming soon ...yum!

6 - Watching our nephew's Little League game.

7 - Meeting my friend's adorable new golden-doodle puppy, Bailey.

8 - First peony of the season!

9 - Back at our summer hangout.  This is a picture of the tractor pulling the pontoon boat to put it in the lake.

10 - On our way to a walking trail.  This girl thinks of this dog as her baby and is so affectionate towards him.

11 - After a hot walk, we treated ourselves to some slushies!

12 - A great way to end a long weekend... playing dodge ball in the sprinklers!

Retro Cam {Week in Review 10}

1.  We had more summer like weather last week!  We had the air on and were rocking the tank tops, shorts, and flip flops.  But the heat is back on today.

2.  We stopped for a slush after school one day.  Hey, it's not every March in Michigan that you can enjoy 80+ degrees.

3.  With the week of warm weather, everything was in full bloom.  It's beautiful!  Tonight, however, it is supposed to freeze so we covered up our budding hydrangeas and Japanese Maple.

4.  We ate dinner on TV trays a few nights since I was putting some polyurethane on the kitchen table.  It was quite cozy.

5.  Nail polish!

6.  Izzy wanted to do nails.  ♥  I painted hers red with black puppy paws and she painted mine blue with fireworks. 

7.  The commercials for Nutella never looked good to me, until I tried it at a friends house.  It's so good... tastes great with graham crackers and peanut butter.

8.  A busy weekend with 2 flag football games.  One more game.  It's been a fun experience!

Retro Cam {Week in Review 9}

Hi ya'll.  Sorry about not posting last week.  We were sick.  But, we are all better, so here's my post for the week:

1.  Visiting daddy at the home show...

2.  ...then going out to dinner at Culver's ... did you know that is my favorite restaurant?  Yes, I'm sure you did.  However, we have decided not to go out to eat for a month unless we are doing something with friends.  So, I guess we won't see Culver's for a little while.  :-(

3.  My buddy boy.  He loves to snuggle.

4.  Then we got sick... lots of Gatorade.

5.  It has been crazy warm here -- crazy!

6.  Warm enough for a car wash.

7.  Neighborhood kids giving each other tattoos (with washable markers).

8.  Parent helper in Eli's class.

9.  Another DIY project - spray paint and polyurethane.

10.  Coloring!

11.  I went to my first garage sale of the season... yay... and found some good deals!!

12.  After a week off of my P90X workout, I got back into it today- a little Arms & Shoulders.

I hope you are enjoying this early spring/summer like weather as much as us.  The kids had the day off and while they played outside, I was able to read a book and just relax for a bit.  For the last day of winter, it was pretty unbelievable. 

Retro Cam {Week in Review 8} & A Blog Update.

Hello & Happy Monday!

Before I give you this week's Week in Review, I wanted to tell ya that for the month of March, I'll be taking a little blogging break.  I'll only be posting once a week and it will be my Week in Reviews only.  I hope you enjoy seeing what we are up to.  

1 - 3. We've continued to have crazy winter weather.  Last week we enjoyed a gorgeous spring like day and then some more snow!

4, 5.  Sleep over with a cousin.  ♥  We love this sweetie pie.

6. Art Hop downtown to see my MIL's photography displayed and enjoyed a yummy mini cupcake.

7. Muffins from Sam's Club.

8. Both kids had pajama day at school!

9, 10.  Sunny, mild day outside taking pictures and shooting hoops.

11. Grilled asparagus.  YUM!

12.  Rawley dog, my buddy, loves to pick up the kids from school.

13.  Working on my new Project Life album. 

14.  Wearing his new Detroit Tiger necklace from Uncle N & Aunt A.  :-)

15. Trying to read through Proverbs.  Reading one proverb a day for the month.

4.  Our amaryllis is finally starting to grow {we've had it for 6 weeks!!}.

5.  Last indoor soccer game.

Retro Cam {Week in Review 5}

Short week in review.  A little Valentine's decor.  And Pizza.  Here ya go!

1. Our jar full of homemade valentines to each other.

2.  Let's just say we've eaten a few M & M's cause that scale used to read a higher number.  :-)

3.  Valentine Mailboxes (from the $1 section at Target).  The kids are loving making pictures or notes and putting them in the mailboxes.

4.  Pizza with friends.  Can't beat the Little Caesar's price... and we like it too!

Retro Cam {Week in Review 4}

A quiet week here, again.  Unfortunately sick friends meant no weekend plans.  Bum-mer!  We have enjoyed some absolutely beautiful, spring like weather here.  It will be tough to have the snow return.  Anyway, here's our week in review:

 1.  Finally putting my collection of embroidery hoops to use!

2.  Indoor soccer... Izzy played goalie for the first time and was so nervous, but she rocked it!

3.  This hoop is constantly used by Eli.

4.  Dreamy Clouds ... kids bathroom paint color.

5, 7.  Mario Kart Wii with the kids.  Lots of fun!

6.  Picked the kids up from school to have lunch at my favorite spot.

8.  Our cluttered bathroom... filled up with the kids stuff while we finished their bathroom.

9.  Another Redbox weekend ~  Mr. Popper's Penguins & Larry Crowne

Retro Cam {Week in Review 3}

This week in review is a little boring.  Everyone has a cold and it's been a somewhat tiring week.  Izzy was out of school for 2 days, Eli was up at night coughing a lot, and Joel has been battling a sore throat and cough.  And to be honest, I haven't been sleeping great due to everyone else's sickness.  So, we've tried to just take it easy.

1.  Homemade banana bread - I always buy bananas at the grocery store, but we never eat them up, so there are always a couple bananas around to make bread

4.  Izzy coloring - home from school

5.  Tony Horton + P90X = a sore me

6.  Chipotle for lunch with my hubby

7.  2 redbox movies this weekend

Retro Cam {Week in Review 2}.

1, 2 - Celebrated my 35th birthday this week.  My awesome husband got me my favorite cake - Boston Creme Pie!

3 - It's been very cold here the last few days.

4 - Doing my work at the kitchen table.

5 - My most favorite chocolate chip cookies ev-er!!!

6 - Toy Story Yahtzee with the kiddos.
