Christmas in August

Kyle and Kaitlyn are visiting at a great time. Every year Sandy Pines (our favorite summer hangout) holds their Christmas in August event. It's a lot of fun. Many people decorated their lots, trailers, and golf carts. Some pass out candy canes, you'll hear some Christmas music, and you might even see a Santa or two.

So excited!

We rode around the park in the back of Grandpa's truck. (I sat on the tailgate, which brought back memories of riding in the back of my Dad's truck as a kid.)

We had to wait until it was dark enough to see all the Christmas lights, so we made a stop to get some of the best (and cheapest) ice cream EVER!!! Look at these cones... these are all baby or small sizes.

Not a clear shot of the lights, but I wanted to give an idea of what we were seeing. Merry Christmas!!!
