Meet Goldie Sparkle, Izzy's fish, and Brian Big Fish, Eli's fish. The kids had been saving their piggy bank money up to buy some fish, which is the only animal we'd allow in the house. Today was a good day to get them. We had nothing going on and it was rainy and cold out. The kids were so excited and came up with some creative names, don't ya think? Joel was hoping Isabel would name her fish "Princess Consuela Banana Hammock." If you've ever watched 'Friends' you'll know what I'm talking about. :-)

congratulations! We loved the names! What kind of fish are they? Goldfish, guppies, or beta?? We each have our own opinion. I really enjoy our fish. We have one at home and I just brought the other one to school. It is relaxing to watch them swim. Ours are both betas and it is so funny--they actually have personalities. :0)

I hear ya on the no pets allowed, our kids will only get goldfish too! Are we depriving them? Some might think so :)!
I liked Mr. Banana Hammock better - but Brian Big Fish will do. ;) Can't wait to see youuuuuu!
