This is why we don't have pets in the DeVisser household people! Sadly, dear Goldie Sparkle and Brian Big Fish died. We hadn't even had them a month... pathetic. The kids handled it just fine. They actually thought it was funny that we were going to flush them down the toilet, but did have lots of questions as to why they died. We told them we'd get more after the holidays. We'll see if they remember. We're so mean. :)
P.S. After having a fever for 6 days, Eli appears to finally be fever free... yea!

Get a Beta fish. I've flushed many, many, many goldfish. MOST just like yours weeks if not days after purchasing them. The Betas seem to be doing better for us.
Loved the red house you made. Do you have your Christmas decorations up?! LOved the centerpiece too! I can smell the fresh pine.....
cooper and i were sorry to hear of the death of your first pets. perhaps it's better you DON'T get a dog afterall. ;)
