Another year older...

I celebrated my 33rd birthday this week... it's not as exciting as it used to be.  I'm glad that Izzy's overshadows mine; she was, after all, the best birthday present I ever got (our birthdays are 2 days apart)!  I did have a great day... out to breakfast with my husband and then over to my grandparents for dinner.

My grandparents are GREAT!  My grandma made a delicious meal for us... she's an excellent cook.  Have I mentioned that I lived with my grandparents for 4 years, while I went to college?  Not only did this help me be able to pay my way thru school, but I also developed a very close, special bond with them.

The kids and Joel made me feel very special too.  Izzy & Eli made cute homemade cards for me...

Joel also surprised me with a new, much needed, hand mixer!  Yea... thanks babe!
