Eli's Room

I think I finally have Eli's room the way I want it. He's had an unfinished book shelf in his bedroom for 3 years! I finally painted it with leftover red paint from our 1/2 bath. From another blog, I got the idea to put up the letters R-E-A-D on the wall. So, I bought gold letters from Hobby Lobby (at half off!), spray painted them black, and then put them on a shelf we already had. I like it, but I wish the bookcase were a little wider. I feel like the letters and shelf are too big for the bookshelf. But, for now, I'll leave it like it is. It's frustrating when you have this "great" idea but then the outcome isn't exactly what you thought it would be. Oh well, it's just a bedroom. :-)
