The kids are finishing up their Spring Break week today. Even though we did not leave town to head somewhere south and warm, we had a lot of fun staying here. We went to the zoo, went to the beach, went to a bounce house, played outside with friends, and more!
Yesterday, while it was raining/ snowing out, we went to an art studio where you can paint and decorate your own pottery. It was fun and I loved to see what the kids came up with for decorating their choice of pottery.
Ready to get started! By the way, Eli said that he did not want to go... but when we were all done he said that he did have fun. :-)
Eli picked a mug and stamped his name on it.
Izzy chose a plate and painted a kitty (it's not a bunny). And, yes, she is still really hoping for a cat.
I also did a special project, which I can't reveal just yet. You leave your projects there and they put them in the kiln and then we can go pick them up in a week or so and they are ready to be used.
