Our new kitchen table!!! This is my parents old table and chairs that they recently gave to Joel and I. They knew that I was interested in it when they were ready to part with it. I love it for many reasons... 1} my dad made it, 2} it reminds me of an old farmhouse table, 3} it's easy to clean up after meals, 4} it is a perfect fit for our family. Thank you Dad and Mom!
I really thought that the new table needed some tulips... fresh from our yard. :-)
We have had a scrabble game gathering dust in the basement. Joel and I NEVER play it. I saw this idea on another blog... making magnets out of the scrabble tiles. Cool! The kids think it's pretty neat.

...he is Joel's Grandpa. I have a special bond with Grandpa. He is so sweet, has a laugh like Santa Claus and loves to have visitors.
