Battle Creek Air Show

As I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, my brother-in-law, Steve, participated in the Battle Creek Air Show.  So, the whole family ventured to B.C. on Saturday afternoon to see him.  He is a lieutenant in the Air Force and was thoroughly enjoying his time at the air show.  We managed to pull him away from curious guests to grab a few pictures...

We walked up to an Air Force area that was giving out t-shirts to people who could do 10 (women) or 15 (men) pull ups.  We watched for a few minutes and then Eli, matter of factly, said "I'm gonna do that."  Oh, really...wow...okay bud.  Go for it!  So, Joel went over with him and helped him do 5 pull ups.  I think Eli thought he was doing these all on his own, but that's okay, we were SOOO proud of him!  And he got a cool little Air Force football for his effort!

We had a nice afternoon and really enjoyed seeing Steve and spending time with family.
