Drawing 101:
Okay, this might not really be an "art project," but it was something we did that I thought I would share with you.
I really like the "how to draw" books below and told the kids to pick something to draw out of one of them. They give you step-by-step directions on how to draw that animal/object/person/etc.
Izzy chose a cat (surprise!!!) and Eli picked a space ship. First, they drew in pencil, then outlined in black sharpie, finally using watercolors to fill it in. They came out cute and colorful!
