A Haircut.

Today I got my hair cut.  And after my cut, Ms. Cindi had a little extra time before her next appointment.  Soooo, I decided that Eli was going to get his hair cut too.  Now, some of you know where this is going.  Eli HATES getting his hair cut and he let everyone in the beauty shop know.  It was a horrible 15 minutes!!!  I'm telling you, this kid kicks, screams, cries, flops, wiggles, tenses up... everything but sit still and quiet!  I'm truly amazed that Ms. Cindi can actually cut his hair... and she does a great job!  It's a little embarrassing and frustrating to be honest.  I mean, here I am trying to bribe him with a "special treat" when we get home and holding his legs down while he screams and everyone is looking at us.  He works himself up into such a uncontrollable state.  Needless to say, Eli did NOT get any sort of treat when we got home, but instead lost the opportunity to play with his friend outside today and spent some quiet time in his room.
Ahhh.... the joys of parenting! :-)

But he looks so happy! : ) Oh, so funny--I know not for you at the time, but someday this will make you AND Eli laugh.... I know that feeling of everyone looking at you as the mom....Lucia & O both have a set of lungs on them!! : ) I'll bet your hair looks cute!
Have a great day!! Laura

Oh, I feel your pain!
Aidan screams at the mention of getting his hair trimmed.. it's getting long again & I am afraid to take him anywhere to have it cut!
Yep, you & Eli will probably laugh about all that when he is older though! :)

How 'bout this alternative? Let him grow it out until all the kids at school start calling him a little girl. Then maybe he'll start cutting his OWN hair. :)

Love ya.
