A Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday, I took the kids to a local pumpkin patch while Joel was mowing the lawn.  It was AWESOME!  I found it by following a "pumpkins" sign down a backroad near our house.

It was much more that I expected it would be.  There was a nice size pumpkin patch where you could pick out your own pumpkins and a (free) corn maze.

They also had TONS of pumpkins on trailers to pick from if you didn't want to pick your own.  There were pumpkins of ALL shapes, sizes, and colors!

We even got to cut down some corn stalks, for no charge, since we bought some pumpkins.  So, for $10 we got 4 regular sized pumpkins, 10 miniature pumpkins, and lots of corn stalks.  (I always wanted to try the corn stalk "look" for fall.)

The environment also brought PLENTY of photo ops.

Happy Fall!!!
