We picked out our Christmas tree this weekend. We like the Frasier Firs and had fun looking for the perfect one. Actually, I just follow everyone around and take pictures. J is the real tree picker outer.
This one looks pretty good... about 8 feet tall. We didn't want to go over 8 ft. or else the tree would fall into the next height category and therefore mean more money. :-) Plus anything over 8 ft. would have a tough time fitting into our house!
J found these sweet old glasses while we were looking for our tree. I think it brought back memories for him of when he really did have to wear glasses like that. I think he looks hot!

I love this time of year!
I love the smell of a fresh Christmas tree.
I love the twinkling lights and homemade ornaments.
I love the excitement the kids get from being able to plug in the lights and see their ornaments on the tree.
I love the reason why we celebrate CHRISTmas!
