My Friday has been a mixture of sadness and happiness.
This morning I attended a funeral for the father of one of I's former classmates. He died from ALS. He leaves behind a loving wife, and 2 young children. While I did not know him, I love his wife. She is such an amazing, compassionate, giving person. I feel so badly that she has to go through this and yet I am amazed at her strength. This also made me realize how dear my family is to me and how I need to treasure
every.
single.
moment.
with them!!!
with them!!!
And tonight, we spent some great family time together!
It was a great night for some homemade chili and cinnamon rolls.
Then we played games together and laughed a lot.
Next Eli got a much needed haircut and did wonderfully! I think it helped that we "bribed" him with extra playtime tonight. We said that if he didn't get his haircut tonight he would have to go to bed. ha ha :-) So now the kids are enjoying playing cars together. I love nights and times like these!

Such a good boy!
Loving on Rawley...
Did I ever show you the almost free canvas I got from Canvas People? I love it!
Hope you have a great weekend! :-)
