It is very possible that some of you have already heard about the dream BIG fundraiser. If you haven't, you must go to danielle's blog to hear all about it! (This beautiful family of 8 is hoping to adopt a cute little boy from Europe with Down Syndrome.)
We have decided to give to this fundraiser for a couple of reasons:
1. My husband and I have not felt called to adopt. It is not something that God has laid upon our hearts. When I read about couples and families who have decided to adopt, for whatever reason, I am filled with admiration for them. What a BIG, expensive, loving thing to do. Giving to this family is such a small thing for us to do.
2. I find it particularly admirable that this family, with 6 young children, are choosing to "step out in faith" and adopt a special needs child. What a change for their family. What a incredible future this little guy will have with his forever family!
3. Finally, have you seen the incredible prizes that are being given away, just by donating?! Go, run... check it out... you only have until April 25th!!!

I have been following Sergey's story on Meg's blog (whatever) & am so excited for that sweet little boy to have such a loving family.. he is so precious! :)
What an amazingly heartwarming and blessed gift for this family to give and receive...he is adorable!
