Happy Mother's Day!

This is what we made for Joel's mom this year:..

Silhouettes of the kids:

Step 1:  Take a picture of your child.

Step 2:  Print out in a 5 x 7 (or whatever size you desire)

Step 3:  Staple picture to a piece of black paper.

Step 4:  Cut out the picture and you'll have your silhouette.

I painted my white canvases and then used tacky glue to attach the pictures.  I personalized with their names, year, and a happy mother's day message.  Then I sprayed it with a clear acrylic matte coating.

I am very happy with the end result... so was grandma!  I plan on making these for myself!  :-)  I can envision a cluster of these on a wall somewhere...
