We L-O-V-E, love, love Honeycrisp Apples! They are our absolute favorite. Yum, yummy!
Even though our neighbors recently gave us a bunch of honeycrisp and gala apples, we needed MORE!!! So, we met my sister-in-law and her kids at the apple orchard and picked over 50 pounds of honeycrisp. We go through them quickly and picked some up for family. We don't do anything with them (no baking or cooking) - just eat them fresh.
It was a perfect afternoon and we all had fun!
After picking apples we went back to my SIL's for pizza and birthday dessert for Joel. I made chocolate eclair dessert - graham crackers, pudding and cool whip, and chocolate frosting. Easy and delicious. Overall it was a wonderful night!

Oh, what a beautiful orchard and honeycrisps! It sounded like such a fun day, with a fabulous birthday celebration to close out the day! The chocolate eclair dessert sounds delish!!!
