Birth Day.

Today was a very special day in our lives.  Seven years ago we welcomed our precious son into the world.  We love him dearly.  I documented his day, however, we never suspected how it might end...

1.   8:48 AM - Daddy asked him what he wanted for breakfast.... mashed eggs on a English muffin.

2.  9:30 AM - Checking sports stats on Daddy's iPhone.

3 & 4.  9:45 AM - a much needed car wash.

5, 6, 7, & 8.  10 AM to Noon - Running errands... last minute birthday supplies at Michael's, returns to the mall, wandering thru Sam's Club, and filling up the tank at $3.49 gallon.

9.   Getting the birthday cake ready... Lions themed.  {More on the party later.}

10.  6:53 PM -  Eli just threw up... party scattered pretty quick!

11.  7:30 PM Eli asked me to lay with him and scratch his back - absolutely buddy!

12.  7:45 PM Started to read a book, but had to stop because his tummy hurt.  :-(

Not exactly the ending to his special day that we wanted.  My poor birthday buddy.  He's still getting sick, so now we just hope to a speedy recovery and for all of the party goers to stay healthy!  I feel so bad that we {unknowingly} exposed our family to this bug.

On a different note, J & I are watching 'Wild Hogs' on TV... it's funny!  It lightens the stress I feel when one of my kids is sick.
