A rock + an Ear.

Soooo... I got a phone call from school today saying that my son decided to put a rock in his ear.  Um, what?!  Yup, I guess he was a little curious and decided to stick a small pebble in his ear.  Fortunately, a couple of his classmates decided to tell the teacher who sent him to the office.  So, he was in the health room at the office where grandma (who works at the school) and an office aide were trying to look in his ear with a flashlight to see if they could see anything.  Eli didn't know if the rock was still in there, but nothing hurt.  Anyway, I took him to the pediatrician and they thought it was just wax.  They used some water sprayer to clean out his ear and sure enough, out popped a rock.  The pediatrician was surprised, like me, to see it come out.  It's really quite hilarious and we've gotten a good laugh out of it.  Oh boy!

Back to new.  I told him he should take the rock to school as a show -n- tell.  :-)
