Color Run. {2013}

Our first Color Run experience!  And it really is the "Happiest 5K in the World!  Izzy and I ran with these 3 other fun ladies... Jodi, Jen and Brie. 

The Blitzin' Babes BEFORE:

(We chose our name because we get together as often as we can to hang out and play Dutch Blitz as couples.)

 

 

There were over 11,000 runners... WOWzer.  I wouldn't really call it a run because it was a lot of walking too since there were so many people and you slowed down at each of the 4 color stations. 

 

Color station... Purple.  There was also yellow, pink, and blue.  We were glad to have sunglasses to cover our eyes.  The color is just corn starch, but not super pleasant to inhale.  It was a happy, happy time!

Izzy tried so hard to get Mr. Ted with some color and she did succeed.  {Each runner receives one color pack to throw at the end.)  I think this is such a great photo below!

 

 

Until next year...

We've decided that it will be a family event next year.  If you have the chance to participate in a Color Run, it's a blast and it cleans up fairly easily too.  :-)
