Last Friday, we worked on our summer art project # 5... making a sand castle, inside. (My kids are starting to ask regularly if we can do an art project...they did one on their own the other day. So cute!) If you are interested you can find the step-by-step directions here.
Mix some sand, corn starch, alum and water together and cook. (Check out the above site for details.)
This is what the concoction looks like when you are done cooking it... it's like play doh.
