Today, my friend Kristen (who also happens to be my neighbor!) and I took our kids to Deer Forest.
It was an adventure, starting from the time we left in the pouring rain.
I think, at one time, Deer Forest was a pretty cool place. Nowadays, it is a little run down...like a big petting zoo...kinda. BUT, the kids had a really great time, so that's what counts the most. You pay per person to get in and then you also buy a bucket of corn to feed all the animals.
There were hundreds of deer...seriously. Little Ryan wasn't too sure about them.
A red deer was out of his pen, which apparently happens every now and then. But don't worry they aren't too "violent." Um, seriously! It was following us around, so we would quick throw him some feed and then get outta there! It was a little unsettling.
Right to Left: Tyler, Izzy, Eli, and Noah. (I love T & N's expressions!!!)
My knight in shining armor!
My princess.
There were a few little rides too. The kids thought the helicopters were fun!
My favorite photo of the day. I don't know what I did, but I love how Tyler's face is clear but the background is a little fuzzy.
Just google DEER FOREST for more information if you're interested.
