Can you believe that I've lived in Michigan for over 14 years and have never been "up north."
Some good friends of ours, the Penzotti's, recently invited us up to Ludington to stay at her parent's place. We had a WONDERFUL time!!! Our kids all got along so well, we stayed in a gorgeous home, and had a fun time...Michigan is beautiful! Thank you Jeff and Laura.
Here are some pictures of our time there. Since I took so many, we'll start with Hamlin Lake, where Laura's parents live.
L's parents live on a channel off of the lake, so we hopped in the boat to go to the sand dunes to spend the day.

We had our own private beach area.
The kids played in the sand all day!
And did some "fishing" and jumping off the boat.
There was also some conquering of the sand dunes...
