On Friday night we took the kids to their very first Detroit Tiger's baseball game.
We picked Izzy up early from school and headed to the game.
We were all EXCITED!!!
They were giving away hats to the first 10,000 fans. Sweet!!!
While we were eating our $17.50 Little Ceaser's pizza, some nice man gave us 4 tickets to ride the baseball ferris wheel.
We had great seats! We were sitting right behind the Tiger's bullpen and watched Justin Verlander warm up.
The Tigers won 10 to 1!!! They were supposed to shoot off fireworks after the game but due to high winds, they were cancelled. That's okay... we didn't get home until 1:00 a.m. as it was. It was great fun and I think we'll look forward to doing this every year as a family.

ohmyword, i love baseball, what a beautiful night to go!!! didn't know if you know, but sundays are kids days, and they always have giveaways and let the kids run the bases after...for next year, maybe? glad u all had a blast!!
