E started Kindergarten today! He was sooo R-E-A-D-Y!!! I can't believe that it's his turn to start school. He's gonna have a great year.
He knew the way... knows exactly where to go. But I'm not ready to let go yet. I followed, took pictures, hung out by the door and watched him. (I'll be doing that ALL week too!)
It made my day when he saw me at the end of his day and gave me a HUGE hug!!! (I really think he missed me...in fact I know it- he told me so. :-))

awww, that is so sweet. of course he missed his mama!! just remember, you can't follow him into school past kindergarden. then it starts being "uncool." :)
It just does not seem possible that he is in Kindergarten! He looks so thrilled....I remember the feeling of the pull of heartstrings as a mom watching her young one head off to school for the first time...it is so bittersweet. Love you! Mom
These are such sweet photos! I know I wish I could be a fly on the wall just to watch Olivia in her class, but I suppose that's not an option so we have to learn to let them go a little! Eli looks so ready for kindergarten, what fun.
