Five Question Friday!!!

My fellow friend and blogger, Theresa, has participated in My Little Life Blog's five question Friday for a little while now.  I always have fun reading her responses and decided to join in on the weekly fun too.  Here are this week's questions and my answers.

1. Do you feel guilty spending money on yourself?

No.  Our family uses the Dave Ramsey envelope system, so when I do buy something for myself it usually comes out of an "envelope".... for example, if I buy myself clothes it comes out of the monthy clothing envelope... I also have my own monthly "blow fund" money to spend.  Now, I do use some of Joel's blow fund money too, but he likes to share.  :-)


2. How well do you know your neighbors?

Quite well.  We have great neighbors.  I love how our kids have fun playing with the neighbor kids.  I enjoy talking to my neighbors and being able to borrow some sugar or an egg if I need to.  I like how we all look out for each other.
3. What age are you looking forward to being?

Hmmm.... I really don't know.  I was just thinking about growing older the other day.  I'm not really excited about it.  I don't like thinking about my parents growing older or even my kids growing older.  But, I think I would say my early 40's.  By then the kids will be in highschool and hopefully playing sports so we can watch and cheer them on.  (It's okay with us if they don't play sports too.) 

4. Do you get excited when the mail comes? Why?

YES!!!  I love getting the mail.  Why?  Because I hope to find a personal note or one of my magazines to look thru. 
5. What is your earliest childhood memory?

I really don't know.  I'm not one of those people who remembers things from when they were 2.  I guess I would say I remember being the new girl in town, going into 2nd grade, riding the school bus on the first day of school, sitting next to a girl I didn't even know and then becoming best friends.  Not very exciting, huh?!
