Christmas Craft # 2

Handprint Ornament:

(I also found this craft idea from the awesome blog Whatever.)

I bought these very large ornaments from Target for $6.  They only had 2 options in this size and I liked this one best.

Paint your child's hand with white acrylic paint.
Place the ornament in the palm of their hand and have them "grab" the ornament to leave their handprint.  You may want to just lightly press each finger down to make sure it leaves a print.

Let dry.

Next you are going to make snowmen out of the fingerprints.
We used a black sharpie marker, felt, and Q-tips (to make snow!).
Use a hot glue gun to attach the felt scarves, hats, etc.

Finally, using your black sharpie, write your child's name and date on the palm of their handprint.

They turned out really cute and will make a great gift!
Happy Crafting!
