Happy Anniversary!

Today, Joel and I celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary.  Eleven years ago, on a snowy Tuesday night, Joel and I got married.  We had dated 2 1/2 years through our junior and senior years of college.  We graduated (even tho we did not attend the graduation) right before we got married.  We chose a Tuesday night because we were trying to work around the holidays, family traveling, and siblings in school.  We wouldn't change a thing... it was a wonderful time!

In honor of 11 years, here are 11 things that I love about my husband, in no particular order:

1.  He loves Jesus and is committed to attending church every Sunday and growing in his relationship with God.  (If it weren't for him, I'd be late every Sunday.)

2.  He is a devoted father who loves his children and spending quality time with them.

3.  He can make me laugh.

4.  He is handsome and athletic. 

5.  He is a hard worker and dedicated to his family business and giving it all he's got.

6.  I trust him with my whole heart.

7.  He stood by me when I struggled in the darkest moments of my OCD, even if he didn't understand.

8.  He loves his family... parents, siblings, etc.

9.  He does so much at home... helping with the kids, homework, dinner, cleaning up...

10.  He never ever complains!

11.  He loves me with his whole heart and I know it and he tells me.  xo
