The school year is officially over for my kids. The last few weeks flew by! {And, how crazy is it, that on their second to last day of school, school was closed due to a power outage?!} The last week of school is always fun and full of activities. Here's their "last day of school" photos:
Eli is moving up to first grade! He had a great year in Kindergarten. He is starting to read and do math. He likes school and is definitely ready to be in school all day {K was just half days}. He lost 4 teeth during the school year and continues to grow, both in height and in maturity.
Isabel is moving on to third grade! She is eager to please, a rule follower, a terrific reader, loves to write, learned cursive and multiplication, and looks beautiful in her glasses {new in 2nd grade!}.
Great school year!
Now let the summer fun begin! :-)

I love getting to compare first and last days. You can see how much they've changed and grew in just 9 months!!

Love the missing teeth and glasses! Such perfect reminder photos of exactly how they were at that age. I'm a bit nostalgic myself tonight--working on a slideshow for our son's Gr. 8 graduation. Sniff. Elementary school is over before you know it!
