Soooo... we've had our puppy dog for a little over a year now. And I think Joel and I ask ourselves at least once a day "what were we thinking?!" We are NOT pet people... there's no other way to say it. We've talked about maybe giving him away, but we do love our Rawley boy. He IS a good puppy, but a very energetic puppy, and so darn cute! Plus, the kids just adore him. So, Rawley "shishboomballey" DeVisser is with us for-ev-er. Yay. *sigh*

...under our bed. Often he's here because he thinks we are going to put him in his crate.
If he's lucky, he gets a walk. He loves going on walks!!!
And if I'm feeling generous I'll take him in the car when I take the kids to school or pick them up. He also loves car rides!!!
He does not love baths... but gets them anyway. I love a clean dog!
So, my friends, I would highly suggest giving A LOT of thought into whether or not getting a pet is right for you. Because it is a big responsibility and you are stuck with him/her for life. :-) Just keepin' it real!

Ha, I love the pic of him under the bed! FYI, he might be so energetic because he only gets a walk if he's lucky. ;) Hahaha!
He's pretty cute! I'm not a dog lover, but grew up with a really great one on a farm, so I understand exactly what you are saying. Despite what our kids try to convince us of, we're just going to have a cat for now. But Rawley looks so friendly--I could see falling in love with him. (And I love it that you love a clean dog. I would be the same.)
I'm sure my dad would say the same things!!! Ha ha! But he is still soooooo cute! :)
