Hope ya'll had a fantastic Thanksgiving! With the Macy's parade on TV in the background, we cleaned, and made treats and decor, and started getting things ready to host our very first thanksgiving.
Joel got the turkey ready and in the oven...
The kids made yummy acorn treats. I got the idea from my sister-in-law. {You can find the "recipe" here at her blog.} Izzy made place cards for everyone, and then we all helped make turkey pine cones.
Joel's parents and grandparents came to eat with us.
turkey
mashed potatoes and real gravy
corn
green bean casserole
stuffing
rolls
pumpkin pie
YUM!!!! We are enjoying the leftovers!

Today we went to a football game... BEAUTIFUL day!!!
Then out for a quick bite to eat at one of my favorite restaurants...
Then to a great women's bball game.
Whew. A full, but fun day.
After all that... a quick drive thru downtown to see all the Christmas lights!
I LOVE family time!
