Today, Joel picked Eli up from school early. He had a stomachache and ended up getting sick, again (at home, not school thank goodness). He had the flu over the weekend too. I guess it wasn't done with him yet. Bummer! He had to miss his very first flag football practice. He was feeling so crummy that he wasn't upset.
Tonight, I took Izzy to a practice and then spent my next hour and a half doing stuff. I ran into Marshall's for a few minutes and found a pair of basketball shoes for Eli. He's been wanting some and was going to use some of his birthday money to buy a pair. Fila's for $19.99 baby! Then I went to Target to pick up some necessities, stuff you might need when someone is sick:
Then to my final destination... Culver's. I was hungry and couldn't get Culver's out of my mind. It's my favorite restaurant right now, ya know. And yes, I was a dork and ate by myself. I did find a booth that was hidden. I enjoyed my yummy deluxe burger (minus onions), fresh from the fryer crinkle cut fries, mountain dew, and chocolate with reese's concrete mixer. All for $5.71! Boo-yah!
It was actually kinda nice to eat by myself. I surfed the web on my phone and enjoyed my fast food. I did feel a little guilty about eating out by myself but felt more guilty that all my hard work from my P90X workout earlier in the day was probably ruined. Oh well. I'm kinda thinking that I'll end up getting the bug Eli has and at least I had a yummy, indulgent dinner before hand! ha.
Now it is time for bed. While hubby gets up to plow (even tho the "big storm" hasn't started yet ...) I turn in for the night. Will we have a snow day tomorrow? TBD... Tootles!
