A little bling bling.

Do you notice anything different on this cutie pie (the one on the left)?  Look closely.

If you guessed that she got her ears pierced... you. are. correct!!!!!

This girl is so brave.  She was also so nervous!  We had to wait and wait.  (More time to second guess a decision.)  Everybody and their mother wanted to get their ears pierced at Claire's on this day.  When it was her turn she did great...didn't flinch a bit.

I love the earrings she picked out. I think she looks older.  She was so excited to tell her daddy too.  She wanted to surprise him so we asked him to take a few pictures of us.  I kept moving her hair behind her ears, but Joel didn't notice until we told him to take a close up.  She couldn't stop smiling , that happy girl of mine. 

This is the second time Izzy has gotten her ears pierced.  The first time was when we convinced her to do it when she was only six.  She also did a brave job then, but unfortunately one earring got embedded, so we had to take them out.

Izzy just decided that she wanted to get them pierced again and used her birthday money to do it.  I was proud of her.  You look beautiful sweetie!
