The Little Hummingbird

We had a tiny visitor in our garage today.
Around and around this little hummingbird flew.  He had the hardest time trying to get out.
He flew...he rested.
Finally after a half hour, the kids and I decided to try and help him out.  I grabbed our hummingbird feeder and stake and lifted it up in the air.  I thought if he came to the feeder I could lower it down and out.  While he visited the feeder several times, I never managed to move it very far before he flew off in a panic again.  (I have the gloves on because I thought that I might actually be able to "catch" him while he was at the feeder... ha!)
I've never seen a hummingbird that up close before.  He (?) was beautiful!!!  The kids named him Brian. Izzy took most of these pictures.  I thought she did a very good job.  We finally gave up trying to help him and went back to what we were doing.  He made it out eventually... I saw him visiting the feeder later.  Oh, Brian!
