After a few months, I have finally completed the "finishing touches" in Izzy's room. {You can see the first post HERE.}
For starters, we removed the 4 black frames with butterfly silhouette's and made a gallery wall...
- I used a combination of frames that I either already had or bought from Goodwill / Walmart, and spray painted {walmart's white, Krylon Sun Yellow, or Krylon Ballet Slipper}.
- I found the hoops at a local thrift store.
- The Amy Butler fabric is from her LOVE line and called 'Bliss Bouquet' and purchased at Field's Fabric.
- The "you are my sunshine" canvas was done the same way as the canvas in THIS post.
- And the silhouette of Izzy was done the same as in THIS post and glued onto cute scrapbook paper.
- The letter "I" was actually from a friend for another project that didn't get finished. So, I spray painted it Ballet Slipper. I think she bought it at Joann's, but am not sure.
Penny the Owl
{Both Penny and the green flannel checked pillowcase came from the Pottery Barn outlet store.}
Tissue paper flowers.
Found a tutorial on Martha Stewart and hung with white tacks and stretchy fishing line {from Joann's}.
Desk Area.
Added the shelf {from IKEA}. On the shelf is a drawing that my sister Lis did of Izzy when she was about 6 months old and some other miscellaneous frames.
